Get away from it all in this magnificent holiday home in the Welsh countryside, with far-reaching views and endless walking trails in all directions. Sleeping six guests, the spacious property suits both large families and groups of friends. A 1.5-mile stroll through the valley brings you to a friendly country pub, or for shops and eateries head into Sennybridge (4.5 miles). In the evenings, relax in the hot tub or challenge your fellow guests to a table tennis match in the outdoor games area.

The detached farmhouse has the perfect combination of rustic elegance and contemporary design, creating a cosy and comfortable setting for your holiday. At the heart of the home is a welcoming lounge/diner, with comfortable seating to stretch out on and a roaring wood burner set in the original inglenook fireplace. There’s also a large dining table with seats and benches, where you can gather for mealtimes as a group. After dinner, pour a glass of wine and retire to the cosy snug with your favourite book. The separate kitchen is bright and airy, with a breakfast bar and all the equipment needed for a self-catering break. A shower room and utility room complete the ground floor. The three stylish bedrooms are arranged across the first and second floors, and all boast rural views and en-suite facilities. Outside, the enclosed patio garden is a real suntrap, with furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining, and a bubbling hot tub for reviving weary limbs after a long walk. You’ll also find a covered games area, with table tennis and darts.

The historic town of Brecon is 13 miles away, and is known for its elegant Georgian architecture. Wander through its pretty streets, browsing the many shops and boutiques, before grabbing a bite to eat in one of the independent cafes or restaurants. You’ll be spoilt for choice when it comes to walks in the area, with Craig-y-Nos Country Park just 16 miles away, the beautiful ‘waterfall country’ at Ystradfellte within 18 miles, and the Black Mountains just 15 miles away.

Absolutely beautiful cottage situated perfectly. The hot tub was so relaxing and the views were amazing. We walked to the pub recommended by the owners while there and had a delicious meal there as well.

Fabulous Property in a beautiful rural location. Lovely space for family and friends to hang out together in, with a big kitchen and living space. The hot tub is a bonus and is extremely peaceful giving a great view of the birds and if you are lucky to have a clear night also the stars. Lovely big and comfortable house with great games room. Enclosed outdoor space perfect for dog. Great smells and perfect location for exploring Brecon Beacons.
