The quirkiest mid-terrace cottage awaits in the town of Dolgellau, perfect for those seeking exploration in the Snowdonia National Park and along the coastline. With pubs, cafes and local shops just a short walk away in the centre of town, you can enjoy a slow pace of life whilst spending your time here. The property is positioned at the base of the mighty Cader Idris, a famed North Wales mountain, along with an endless array of hiking and biking routes to offer you daily activities within easy reach. Get to know this area with your loved ones in tow, visiting as two couples or a small family. This property sleeps four guests across two cosy bedrooms and invites a dog to stay along with you.

Period features have been lovingly maintained in this bijou abode, with exposed brickwork, an inglenook fireplace and exposed beams adding to its charm. The light and bright lounge/diner is a room for all kinds of relaxation, with the Smart TV ready to entertain you into the night on cooler evenings. When it’s warm, step out and enjoy the last of the day’s sunshine from the courtyard garden. Back inside, pass a stylish downstairs shower room on your way up to the first floor to find two attractive double bedrooms.

As well as a myriad of opportunities for hiking nearby, the town is a fantastic base for mountain bikers with many trails on offer in the vicinity. Discover the Mawddach Trail, a mostly flat route that follows an old railway line down the river and along to the seaside spot of Barmouth (9 miles), or visit the Coed y Brenin Mountain Bike Centre (8 miles) to hurtle up and down some adrenaline-pumping hills. The forest is also a great place to explore on foot, with beautiful wildlife and scenery to admire.

A very comfortable cottage which was warm and welcoming to enter. A very central location with easy access to amenities and for a base for exploring the surrounding areas.
