Escape to the countryside in this luxurious barn conversion just 4 miles from the bustling market town of Mold. The vast property is perfect for family get-togethers and holidays with friends, and boasts spacious entertaining areas, a games room, and a stunning outdoor area with a wood-fired hot tub. The area is a paradise for walkers, with multiple routes directly from the property, leading to Waun-Y-Llyn Country Park and Hope Mountain.

The detached stone barn conversion has been immaculately decorated and furnished and combines industrial style features with the property’s original elements, to create a truly unique backdrop to your holiday. Luxurious touches are dotted throughout the holiday home, such as underfloor heating, to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The hub of the home is an expansive kitchen/diner, with ample equipment and worktop space to cater for a large group, as well as an impressive refectory-style dining table for hosting dinner parties and special occasions. There’s also a snug area to one end – the perfect spot for pre/post-dinner drinks. Just off the kitchen/diner is a handy utility room where you can store outdoor gear. After dinner, retire to the lounge for a movie night in front of the Smart TV, or challenge your fellow guests to a table football match in the games room. The property has a ground-floor double bedroom with an adjacent shower room. The remaining three bedrooms are upstairs, one of which has an en-suite shower room. A family bathroom with a roll-top bath completes the accommodation. The garden is enclosed by a low stone wall, and boasts tranquil views across open fields. Dine alfresco on the patio, or rest your weary limbs in the wood-fired hot tub. Guests also have access to an enclosed field that’s ideal for dog walking.

As well as the charming market town of Mold, you’ll also be within easy reach of Wrexham (8 miles). Recently awarded city status, Wrexham has a real buzz about it, with a vibrant shopping centre full of studios, galleries, and quirky eateries. There’s also a science discovery centre that’s great for children. Further afield, enjoy a day trip to Chester Zoo (19 miles) or spend the day soaking up the history at the National Trust’s Chirk Castle (16.5 miles). Alternatively, enjoy a relaxing afternoon amongst the wildlife at Coed Y Felin Nature Reserve (9 miles).

A lovely and modern property, finished to a high spec & ideal for 8 people. It has 2 en-suite bedrooms and 2 sharing the master bathroom, which has a stunning roll-top bath but lacks a shower which was a tad inconvenient for a group of this size. The kitchen is spacious and well-equipped, and the large dining table is perfect for socialising. The wRead moreood-fired hot tub is charming with fairy lights but took a while to heat. Ample parking for 4 cars. I would recommend it for a cosy girly weekend. Hide

The barn is beautifully done, very spacious and extremely comfortable. We had an excellent family stay (a week over Christmas). The owners were responsive, friendly and helpful. They had (tastefully) decorated for the festive season, making us feel very welcome for a first Christmas away from home. The weather was abysmal, so we spent most of our tRead moreime indoors, but really no hardship! The wood fired hot tub took us a little while to heat up, but then most enjoyable. We would happily return. Hide

Lovely stay, house was beautiful and great for a big group. Photos do not do justice to how big the property is, was pleasantly surprised. Decorated to a high standard and cute welcome gift upon arrival. Highly recommend!
