Nestled deep within mystical woodlands, this bespoke shepherd’s hut provides romantic surroundings for two guests to enjoy a luxury glamping experience. Right out in the sticks, the lodge enjoys a rural location and an uninterrupted dose of peace and quiet, surrounded by a 4-acre garden filled with lakes, waterfalls and endless brightly coloured flora. You can embrace an endless array of walking and biking routes on your doorstep and spend time in the Mid Wales town of Welshpool just 3 miles away. Wherever your day takes you, look forward to a cwtch in the cosy cabin of this endearing abode, curled up by the wood burner when the weather is cool outdoors.

Notice the incredible surroundings on your way into the property, stopping off in the private decking right outside the place to admire the bench, BBQ and fire pit. Once indoors, you’ll find everything you require laid out in two rooms. One room offers all your necessities including a kitchenette, a dining space and a plush double bed with a Smart TV in view. Rustle up light yet delicious dinners in the well-equipped kitchen space, and sit down to dine either indoors or out before jumping under the blankets to stream a favourite film, all with the wood burner gently blazing away in the corner. The second room offers a full-sized bathroom with an invigorating shower unit.

A walker’s paradise, you can lace up your walking boots and explore the Mid Wales hiking territory without needing to jump in the car throughout your stay, Offas Dyke and Glyndwrs Way are easily accessible. Coed Y Frochas is a stunning area of woodlands less than 0.5 miles away and the Whitehouse Nature Reserve (3.5 miles) boasts plenty of wildlife a little further away. Admire stunning scenery whilst following the towpath along the Montgomery Canal (3 miles) or take a fabulous walk along the River Severn from Welshpool. The National Trusts Powys Castle is not far for a lovely day of history and wandering in the lush gardens.

Perfectly maintained cottage in beautiful garden. Located in easy reach of Welshpool. Great place to switch off from modern life and watch nature. Very welcoming hosts who where available if you needed them but left you in peace if you didn't.

Absolutely gorgeous property - photos don't do it justice! Very peaceful and everything you need for a few days in nature. Host was very friendly on arrival but also gave us privacy and didn't interuput our weekend. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

We had a fantastic week at the sheperd's hut. It is an nice, cosy and well equipped accomodation in a beautiful and quiet environment with privacy. We loved the fire pit. The hosts were perfect! Absolutely amazing little cabin. The location is so peaceful and quiet, it's in the most amazing surroundings which are a wonder to walk around. The cabin has everything you need for a comfortable stay and was spotlessly clean. The log fire throws out some serious heat and is lovely. We wasn't lucky with the weather and had rain both days of our stRead moreay but that somehow made it even better. An amazing place to stay. The hut was clean and tidy with all the mod cons. It is situated in the beautiful setting of the Welsh countryside and the surrounding gardens and lake are stunning and well worth a walk around. The log burner had an ample supply of logs and made the nights nice and cosy and the owner was very friendly and helpful.
