The cottage is in a gorgeous setting too with beautiful country views close to the Shropshire Hills, the town of Ludlow, fascinating historic sites and lots of great walks.
The converted granary has been designed with comfort in mind and retains lots of its original character and features. Go inside and upstairs to the spacious open-plan living area with a wood burner, a Smart TV and comfortable sofas for chilled nights in, gorgeous wood flooring and beams, and a cosy reading nook with an armchair in the corner. There’s a good-sized, contemporary kitchen area with a dining table and chairs for eating in, and next door is the impressive king-size bedroom. It has great storage and a stunning en-suite bathroom; there’s also a separate WC in the utility/cloakroom as you enter downstairs. Relax outside on the patio with a cool drink or laze on a sun lounger, wander the shared grounds and give the pups a good run in the secure field.
Get out and explore the stunning local countryside or head into the Shropshire Hills (5 miles away) where you can pick up Offa’s Dyke Path which roughly traces the English/Welsh border. Head to the medieval town of Ludlow (13 miles) to see the castle ruins, stock up at the market and treat yourselves to the wonderful cafes and restaurants. Spend a day exploring the local historic sites of Berrington Hall (15 miles), Croft Castle (10 miles) and Stokesay Castle (11 miles).
