Sleeping two guests, the two-bedroom holiday home could be ideal for a couple or a pair of friends keen to escape together for a spell. Situated 500 metres from the Pembrokeshire village’s sandy beach and the coast path, the tranquil retreat benefits from a private patio where you can relax with a cup of tea or a glass of wine after your exciting days out.

Open the door to this self-contained annexe, which adjoins the owner’s home but enjoys its privacy, to find accommodation all on one level. The heart of the hideaway is its open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where you can rustle up tasty meals for two, dine together at the table and unwind in front of a good movie on TV. When you are ready to head off to bed for the night, you will find a double bedroom and a single close by. The annexe also has a family shower room. Have morning coffee out on the pretty patio as often as the weather allows, making your plans for the day and simply enjoying the tranquillity. There is parking for one car at the property.

While away sunny days on the beach at Saundersfoot or walk the 1-mile path along the seafront and through the tunnels to Wiseman’s Bridge. Keen walkers might also like to follow the 4-mile route along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path to Tenby. From Tenby or Saundersfoot book a seal-watching trip out on to the open sea. In Tenby, 3.5 miles away by car, wander the charming streets of shops, find an array of eateries to choose from and climb up to the castle. Venture 11 miles into the bustling town of Pembroke to see the striking castle there as well.

We found the bungalow very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. Ideal location to walk into Saundersfoot and discover the surrounding area.

Although a little small, there is everything 2 people could wish for. Having 2 bedrooms is bonus.

Quiet location in a cul de sac but only a 10 min walk from the centre of Saundersfoot. Friendly and helpful hosts.

The whole procedure was a nightmare. Initially we booked online through Last Minute Cottages on 27 March, then we were receiving emails from Powells Cottages, Snaptrip, Wales Cottage Holidays, Original Cottages from such people as Katie Mulhall, Elizabeth Boatswain-Ali, Jade Fern, Phobe. Throughout the 5 days it took to finally manage to book tRead morehe property, we were being told that our payment had not been made, although a photo of our bank statement confirming payment was sent to you. By 30 March we were informed that Powells Cottages had not received payment and therefore the booking had been cancelled and the property would be released. Later that day we were told that there had been "technical issues" which had eventually been resolved, that our payment had been received, and that we could continue with the booking.....just 2 days before departure. It was a constant worry. The holiday was intended to be a celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary, but the booking procedure spoilt the build up to it. We complained to the property owners as soon as we arrived about the appalling booking organisation. We certainly won't be using any of the various company/companies again, nor would we recommend anyone else using them either. Hide
