This is a lovely, well equiped cottage with fantastic views and comfortable living rooms. There is space to relax, plenty of light and an amazing kitchen diner. The Clearview woodburner is wonderful, easy to use and belts out some heat. Bedrooms are comfortable and there are plenty of bathrooms. We didn't want to leave! We were watching birds from Read morethe windows and hares from the garden and drinking in the beautiful landscape. It was the perfect gettaway for some walking and visiting family. A great place for a holiday. Thank you Hide

We booked this cottage for a last minute trip to Mid Wales. While we loved the cottage and grounds, we were really disappointed because the basics were missing. Firstly, towels are not an optional extra that you charge at a rate of 2 per person. When you offer bathing facilities, it is a basic requirement to provide towels and soap for bathing Read more(preferably a good quality soap). Secondly, when you provide toilet facilities, it is a basic requirement to provide hand towels in each Bathroom for your guests to dry their hands after washing. While you provided a hand towel for drying hands in the Ground Floor WC, you did not provide them in the two Bathrooms on the First Floor, which are the closest to the Bedrooms. Thirdly, the No mobile signal statement is incorrect because all members of our party had good mobile signal. When this is combined with the fact that the Overview is silent on whether you have Wi-Fi, if we had more time to choose, we would most definitely not have chosen to stay at your lovely Cottage. You must loose so much business because of the poor property Overview. You should say, Mobile Signal May be poor or non existent for some networks. Also, you should most definitely state that you have Wi-Fi. Fourthly, you made no extra effort to make us feel special. We recently stayed at a holiday home where they left us a cake, a bottle of wine and some biscuits. Yes, I am sure they increased their price to pay for the gifts, but it doesnt matter because it made us feel like valued guests and we will definitely stay there again. We cannot say the same for your home. Considering that we paid around 800 for one night, failing to provide the basics is simply not on. I suggest that my comments above are the reason why your lovely home was one of the last available on the website. Also, a check in time of 4pm is very late. Response from holidaycottages.co.uk - Thank you for your review. We do state in the description that towels are provided as an extra. Wifi is also selected on this property as an attribute and would advise in the overview if wifi was not provided but we do appreciate the feedback. Thank you for advising on the mobile signal. This has since been updated in the overview. The property is not advertised with a welcome pack but we have of course fed this back to the owners. Many thanks Hide

A spacious cottage, well off the beaten track. Lovely views and surrounded by a working livestock farm. Well equipped kitchen and 2 sitting rooms and a small dog-secure garden. The free roaming cows and calves meant walking the dog wasn't easy but the nesting house martins kept us entertained.

This is a lovely comfortable house with great views (when the mist isn't down) and worth the narrow lane to get there.

Black Patch, it was really a Beautiful Patch. The scenery was magnificent as this property enjoys an elevated position. A short walk up a nearby hill, then you can almost see the whole of Wales. With the sheep and cows around you, it was a pleasant experience. My family thoroughly enjoyed the stay. It was above my expectations.
