This delightful cottage is on one level and is ideal for a family or group of friends for a relaxing seaside holiday on the east coast of Anglesey. The popular sandy beach of Benllech is less than 500 metres away and is perfect for picnics and building sandcastles. If you want to be a little more active, there are opportunities for surfing, diving, kayaking, coasteering and sailing close by along the coast.

This charming property has a coastal theme throughout, creating a homely ambience where you can relax as soon as you step inside. The living/dining/kitchen area boasts high ceilings, exposed stone and beams that will immediately catch your eye. Light floods in through the large window, which used to be the coach house entrance. With plenty of comfortable seating, a cosy wood burner and a TV, the lounge is the ideal place to chill out together. The dining area includes a pretty church pew, and the neat, contemporary kitchen ensures rustling meals is a cinch. When it’s time to rest, there are three bedrooms to choose from - one double, one twin and one single. A bathroom completes the home’s features. In the large, enclosed lawned garden, relax and enjoy a drink or a meal on the patio.

This area of Wales is rich in history, and you can easily reach two must-see attractions - Beaumaris (8 miles) and the magnificent Caernarfon Castle (16 miles). Visit Copper Kingdom (9 miles) to see the surreal landscape created by the mining that took place there, and children will also love a visit to Pili Palas Nature World (8 miles). If you want to walk along the coast, you can take the Anglesey Coastal Path from Benllech and enjoy the marvellous views. For something more challenging, head to Llanberis (19 miles) and hike up Snowdon.

Our holiday in Anglesey was enhanced hugely by the excellence of Bwthyn Benllech in every way .Ruth was so helpful giving us several places of interest that we subsequently visited and enjoyed. Also the welcome pack which included her delicious homemade cakes was soon demolished! It was a truly memorable experience and I would highly rRead moreecommend it for any future guests. Hide

This was an excellent cottage with fantastic amenities close by. It was furnished to a high spec. The owners checked that everything was ok and gave their number if any problems should occur. There was also a lovely cake waiting for us on arrival as well as fresh flowers. A very welcoming cottage.
