We were sailing at a regatta at the club all week so the location was absolutely ideal for that as well as for access to all the town's restaurants and bars. The view from the main room window is stunning. The flat really needs to be improved interns of furnishings and decor. The decor is 'tired' and the main sofas are both parts;y broken though toRead more some extent this is reflected in the cost. we would come again in the same circumstances, but whether I would recommend to a friend would depend on what the friend was looking for! On the surface the apartment was clean. However, we found a box of doughnuts and an empty drinks bottle under a bed. There were dead moths underneath the sofas so vacuuming was limited to what you can see, rather than being done properly. There was not enough crockery, cutlery and drinking glasses. Instead there were old, mismatched items. It woulRead mored be much nicer to have everything matching and to have more than enough of everything. Similarly there were mismatched pans and only the smallest two had lids. The microwave is not at all hygienic with many rusty areas inside. One sofa is missing stuffing in an arm and another sofa has collapsed in the centre of the seat. Some curtains are ripped and one bathroom has a shower curtain at the window. A set of ladders were left in a bedroom which is not at all safe. There is also evidence of damp. Lastly, we were without WiFi for 11 days. All of these issues can be easily remedied and would make a huge difference to the property and to future guests. The property would then be value for money which it certainly isnt at the moment. This is a real shame because the location is fantastic and the property has such potential. Sadly, in its current state we did not want to commit to being returning guests and we have booked a nearby property for 2026. We actually feel like we should be refunded part of the money we paid for the property as it was not at all worth almost 4000 for a fortnight. Hide

The view is incredible and the flat had plenty of space for a larger group (9 beds), but beware of the stairs as it is 6 flights up to the actual flat.
