Head inside to find yourselves in the welcoming, beamed lounge where you can relax, take in the beautiful views and find your favourite programme on the TV. Make your way on into the kitchen/diner to pop any damp clothing into the washing machine after long walks, and to start preparing dinner for everyone to enjoy together at the table in here. The family bathroom is up on the top floor of the cottage, where the comfortable double and twin bedrooms are also located. Have morning coffee and breakfast out in the sunshine before heading off for the day’s great adventure. There is unlimited parking at the property.
Spend time pottering in the craft shops, galleries, and other colourful outlets of Betws-y-Coed. You will also find places to dine out here. Venture 13 miles to Blaenau Ffestiniog to explore the former slate mines of Wales and spend time at the thrilling Zip World Caverns, where there are underground zip lines, rope bridges, via ferrata and tunnels. Have a day out to beautiful Bala, 22 miles away, where you can walk or cycle round Llyn Tegid (or Lake Bala) and have a go at exciting water sports such as canoeing, kayaking and wind surfing. The National Trust’s Craflwyn and Beddgelert area, 21 miles from the cottage, is another picturesque place to visit of you enjoy walking.
