Enjoy the picturesque countryside, as well as the coast and city when you stay at this Welsh holiday home near Pontardawe. Located on verdant farmland, 8 miles from bustling Swansea, the three-bedroom cottage nestles in rural surroundings within reach of both the Brecon Beacons National Park and the beautiful Gower Peninsula. It sleeps six guests and offers dog-friendly accommodation, making it a great option for anyone with a canine companion in tow.

Let yourselves into the cottage to discover a central lounge/diner, with two staircases rising up to galleried landings. Relax in here together after your days out, watching TV, playing games and planning your next adventures. Wander through to the kitchen, which has a breakfast bar, to whip up tasty meals to enjoy together at the table. One of your bedrooms, a double, which has an en-suite wet room, is at ground-floor level. Two additional bedrooms, each of which has an en-suite bathroom, can be found on the upper levels of the cottage. Dine outside on your private patio on sunny days, cooking on the shared BBQ from time to time. Let the children play on the 0.5-acre lawn, which is shared with another holiday home. There is private parking at the property.

Pack a picnic and venture 8 miles to the fringes of the scenic Brecon Beacons National Park, with its many footpaths and beauty spots. Head off into the Gower Peninsula, which begins about 14 miles away too. Here you can while away summer days on the beaches at Langland Bay, 15 miles away, and Caswell Bay, 15.5 miles away. Make your way into Swansea to spend time browsing in its many shops and dining out in its array of restaurants. Take the children to the cinema, water park or Plantasia Tropical Zoo while you are here.

The memory we made at The Cottage is just in simple words ...priceless. Jane made sure right from the start that we would have a very pleasant time at her cottage. We had a lovely welcome basket full of treats and even something for my puppy. That really touched our hearts. The Cottage was in pristine condition and we had absolutely everything we nRead moreeeded there. Only had to buy fresh food. Kitchen was super well equipped and there was also a coffee and hot chocolate machine which my kids enjoyed in the mornings. The Cottage was very spacious and clean and super cozy ....in simple words just a beautiful well maintained home. The views around The Cottage were just unreal and I found exactly what I was searching for ...bliss and peace. Very close to Pontedarvey so extremely convenient for food and goodies shopping. If you are looking to escape the madness of this world but yet be close enough to humanity then this Cottage is the ideal place. I will definitely be going back there again as I left a tiny bit of my heart there. Jane ...no other words for you ...just simply THANK YOU. Hide

Excellent cottage with everything anyone could want. Plenty of room, well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. We had a lovely time in this imaginatively converted barn. Wish it had been longer. It was very comfortable, and well-appointed. The bedrooms are quite compact, due to the design of the accommodation, and the beds a bit small for someone on the larger size. However, it's not easy to find a holiday property which has 3 bedrooms, one being groundRead more floor, each with ensuite, and which accepts 2 dogs, so we were very lucky to find this lovely place. I was blissfully comfortable in my bed. The welcome pack was very generous and a lovely surprise. The setting is idyllic, with lovely views and walks. All in all, we'd love to visit again. Hide
