Beaumaris Castle, 9 miles away on Anglesey, is also worth visiting. This seaside town also has a beautiful sandy beach, as well as shops to potter in and cafes and pubs to dine out in. Venture 12 miles to see impressive Aber Falls, one of Snowdonia’s most dramatic waterfalls.
