Cyclists can enjoy peaceful rides down quiet country lanes. Take your pets for a romp on beautiful, dog-friendly beaches at Ynys Las (5 miles) and Borth (7 miles), a favourite spot for surfing. In the lively seaside town of Aberystwyth (9 miles), board the delightful Vale of Rheidol steam railway to climb 200 metres through glorious scenery to the Devil’s Bridge, with its famous waterfalls. Canine companions are welcome.
