You’ll find plenty of walking opportunities nearby, whether that’s joining the Glyndwr’s Way 0.5 miles from the cottage, the Dyfi Valley Way in Machynlleth or tackling the more challenging Cadair Idris peak (routes starting in Minffordd, 15 miles, and Abergynolwyn, 18 miles. For cycling, we recommend the Sustrans Way which you can join 2 miles from the cottage on the Machynlleth-Llanidloes mountain road.
