Situated on a farm in the heart of Snowdonia sits this modern three-bedroom stone cottage. With hiking trails and cycle routes right from the door, this is a fantastic holiday home for a family looking to enjoy outdoor activities and nearby sandy beaches.

The ground floor is a delightful space and after a day exploring kick-off your boots and step through to the welcoming open-plan living area. For a day at the beach, head to Cricieth (7 miles) or try your hand at wakeboarding, waterskiing, and windsurfing at Abersoch Beach (19 miles). A lovely bright, well equipped spacious cottage, in an excellent location. The weather meant we couldn't explore Snowdonia or go hiking, but there was plenty to see and do - castles, gardens & coastline, all easily accessible from the cottage. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. A lovely place to explore the area.

Property is gorgeous, very clean and lovely views. Owners lovely and very welcoming. We had a fab holiday! Would just be good to have more cutlery (there are only 6 knives but 30 mugs?!). And the downstair shower seems to be set to very hot. Location brilliant as long as you've got a car - Caernafron, Criccieth and Porthmadog all within 15 mins. WoRead moreuld thoroughly recommend! Lovely welcome from the host. The property is easy to find and well located for days out. Our main reason for this trip was to visit Zip World at Penryhn Quarry around 35 minutes away. The property itself was beautifully renovated. We didnt have an opportunity to use the garden but this is a good size, with a large patio and furniture, would be lRead moreovely to sit out in better weather. The house was well equipped and we made good use of the wood burner. Would happily return. Hide

The property was exactly as described, very comfortable and clean. Other properties have had a welcome pack (tea, coffee biscuits etc) this one did not. A small criticism. The farm on which the property is situated is a long way from the road, so no noise. Original Cottages are excellent in their service and information and cannot be faulted in anRead moreyway. Hide

We had a fantastic week, the weather was kind, cottage was of a high standard and in a great location. We managed to get out and about each day, including Nice walks up the lane behind the cottage. Nesta and Hefin very friendly but, leave you to enjoy your time there. All in all a brilliant holiday. Cheers, John & family.

Lovely cottage, very well equipped. Spoke to the very friendly & helpful owners a few times. Only disappointing aspects were that there was building work going throughout most of our stay, which was OK, but a little noisy at times. Also there was no welcome pack as advertised and as expected, but the 'covid' excuse was used to explain this, which IRead more did not understand. Overall though we loved the cottage, the facilities within were excellent, the showers were amazing, great views on 2 sides, very comfortable and welcoming. We would happily return and recommend to others Hide
