This single-storey converted farm building is cosy and comfortable, with masses of character and a warming wood burner. In a rural location and with fabulous views, it’s close to Bangor, Caernarfon and the foot of Yr Wyddfa - Snowdon, making it a great destination for couples and families wanting to explore the many attractions of North Wales.

One of three stone cottages, this lovely property has a welcoming lounge with a beamed ceiling and a wood burner set in huge stone fireplace - a lovely spot in which to while away a quiet evening. The fitted kitchen/diner is very well equipped for easy preparation of holiday meals, and includes a slow cooker and a filter coffee machine. Two smartly decorated bedrooms, a double and a twin, both have ample storage and share a spacious bathroom with a bath and separate, walk-in shower. The fenced outside space has a large, hard-surface area and a patio with dining furniture, where you can enjoy a drink or a meal while relishing the views of Eryri - Snowdonia.

This is a perfect base for lovers of outdoor activities. Plas Menai National Watersports centre is 2 miles away, Zip World Penrhyn Quarry is 5 miles, and Llanberis, the starting point for hiking or the train to the top of Yr Wyddfa - Snowdon, is also 5 miles. If a day at the beach takes your fancy, head 4 miles to the Menai Bridge and cross onto the unique island of Anglesey, where unspoilt beaches, hidden coves, pretty towns and impressive castles await. In the city of Bangor, just 3 miles away, you can wander the shops and the Victorian pier, and try a variety of places to eat and drink, while the royal town of Caernarfon, with its magnificent castle, is only 6 miles away.

Delighted with our cottage. Very comfortable and well equipped throughout. Good location for exploring coast and inland. Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome.

Very easy to find and book an accessible dog friendly cottage on the site. The cottage was in a stunning location and had everything we needed and more.
