The pictures of the house and the view do neither justice becasue in real life they are both outstanding. My family and I stayed here for 1 week, and only have the highest of compliments of the property, facilities, location and the amazingly helpful and friendly owner. Due to a member of our families health conditions, we are limited in the places we can look to stay at, so when I discovered this cottage with the facilities and accessibility options,Read more it was well worth the booking. We had a wheelchair user who was able to navigate and access all of the downstairs living areas with ease, and combined with the downstairs bedroom and wet-room, it has to be one of the best properties for any family with a disabled guest. All in all, our family were absolutely blown away with the property. All of the bedrooms are tastefully decorated, with comfortable beds and plenty of storage space. The bathroom is modern and clean with a great, mixer-shower over the bath. The main lounge is a fantastic size, and has plenty of comfortable seating for 8, as is the large farmhouse kitchen. The house has a wrap around patio/garden with the most fabulous views and relaxing outlook. There are two picnic benches that offer a lovely place to have morning coffee or an evening drink at the rear of the property as the local sheep watch on from the adjacent field. To the front of the house is parking for 3-4 cars, but leave the access road clear as the farm traffic needs access at all times. We simply couldn't fault the property and it absolutely met our families needs in every way. What made our stay a 10/10 was the interaction with the owner of the property. We hired a mobility scooter for the week and the owner went above and beyond and dealt with the hire company to ensure the scooter was delivered prior to our arrival. As well as this, the owner was courteous and friendly and offered to help in any way she could to make the holiday run as smoothly as possible. The cottage welcome pack was fantastic, a selection of locally produced ales, crisps, snacks and chocolate, along with milk and yoghurts and a very tasty Bara Brith cake. Just an amazing added bonus to the stay. As for the location, the cottage is remote, and accessed down primarily single lane roads from the Main A road. Its only 10 minutes at the most, to drive into Porthmadog which has 3 Supermarkets. If you arrive with only the basics, you can more than cater for the rest of the week using these supermarket options. We would definitely return to this property if the situation would allow, but can't recommend this property highly enough to any family, especially one with accessibility requirements. Hide

We selected this property in part for its great location from which to go exploring but also because we were able to hire specialist mobility equipment (hoist, profiling bed and commode via the owner). The equipment was very reasonably priced and made our holiday much easier to manage. The property had everything we could have needed in terms ofRead more utensils and appliances. The choice of two outdoor seating areas was a bonus. It really did feel like a home from home. The welcome pack was beyond anything we've ever received before and featured a range of delicious Welsh treats. Hide

Lovely, warm and well laid out house. The downstairs twin bedroom with underfloor heating and a wet room bathroom for ensuite was amazing for anyone, but especially for wheelchair users, loads of room. Anyone with accessibility needs, this is the house for you. All the bedrooms were a good size with views from each window. The family bathroom upsRead moretairs is a lovely bathroom. Plenty of parking. We found it easy to find using google maps. There is a single lane road to the house but it is easy to drive down and very few vehicles use it as there's very few properties down this lane. The house is a great base for travelling around the area. If you have a full EV car there are a couple of fast charging points in Tremadog, just drive through Tremadog village and there's a nice little cafe on the right hand side with 2 Fast chargers, very easy to find, it's only a few miles from the house. The house is situated in a very quiet place and is great for relaxing, with views all around. Access to the big building that's a ruin, just walk past the front of the building, on the lane that the house is on, and you will come to a small metal gate to access the grounds. I would recommend this house to anyone, it's a great place to stay. Hide
