This charming and homely cottage with wooden-beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and a warming wood burner is surrounded by nature and makes the perfect getaway for a small family or couple seeking a tranquil holiday near Snowdonia National Park. Get competitive in the games room or soak up the countryside views from the garden.

Step inside the open-plan kitchen/diner/lounge and feel the warmth from the underfloor heating. The ‘L’-shaped kitchen is made up of rustic brick and wood cabinets which sit opposite the dining table and chairs. Natural light pours in through the French doors into the dining space and lounge, which has a wood burner and two sofas. Completing the ground floor is a WC. Upstairs is a family bathroom plus two bedrooms – a king-size and a twin. Outside is a separate games room which is shared with the neighbouring property, plus an enclosed patio with furniture and a BBQ.

Make the most of scenic countryside walking routes from your doorstep with views of the Cambrian Mountains. Venture into Snowdonia National Park (8.5 miles), where you’ll find activities for every type of traveller. Challenge yourself to a mountain climb at Cadair Idris (16 miles) – which is 893 metres with a serene lake halfway to the top. Hike the trails at the National Trust South Snowdonia nature reserve (25.5 miles) or around Dolgoch Waterfall (22 miles). Visit the nearby historical landmarks like Pont Minllyn (10.5 miles) or go for a dip at Barmouth Beach (30 miles).

Had a delightful stay with my partner. The cottage was so cosy and welcoming and had everything that we needed. Rodri the host was very welcoming and gave us helpful ideas for our stay. We didn't want to come home. We will definitely be returning again. Thank you from Tony & Marie.

A real gem in the middle of the Welsh countryside. So quiet and away from everything one can really relax. The accommodation and location were superb. Hopefully we will stay again.

Beudy is a fabulous, sumptuous barn conversion where everything has been done to an exceptionally high standard, with a great deal of care and thought being given to the comfort of those staying there. The location is ideal for those wishing for peace and tranquility. Fantastic stay! Amazing barn, brilliant social kitchen, so many giggles had during pool competitions. What a view to wake up to every morning, lovely weather as well. Thank you so much, and lovely welcome pack. We enjoyed watching the sheep being rounded up by the border collie. Somewhere we would love to come back too again.
