Attention to detail, thoughtful design and panoramic views are what make this converted barn on the Llyn Peninsula, just 1 mile from the beach, somewhere that will hold a special place in your heart. Treat yourself and up to three more human guests plus two furry companions to a tranquil seaside getaway and enjoy quality time together in the rustic and coastal-themed open-plan living space with characterful features and relax in the garden while soaking up the sea views with a bottle of bubbly.

Enter the open-plan living space with a cathedral-style ceiling and find yourself surrounded by cool coastal tones, warming wooden features, soft and comfortable furnishings and bright natural light pouring in through the French doors. The lounge area has two plump sofas beneath a wooden beamed ceiling in front of a crackling wood burner and Smart TV. Move into the dining area to find a French chic table and chairs. The kitchen has plenty of floor space and bold feature walls which contrast with the rustic wooden shiplap ceiling. There are two bedrooms in this property – a large king-size bedroom with an en-suite entrance to the family bathroom plus a twin room with an en-suite. Outside is an enclosed patio with a lawn, sea views, furniture and a BBQ.

Put on your walking boots and join the Llyn Coastal Path from your doorstep, which can take you to the sandy and secluded Porth Oer (1 mile), known as whistling sands – one of the most beautiful beaches in the area. You won’t be far from the quaint fishing village of Aberdaron (3 miles) for a spot of shopping and to taste the local cuisine. If you’re up for a challenge, the highest point on the Llyn Peninsula, Yr Eifl mountain range is 15 miles away.

Tyddyn Lago is a beautiful place to stay. We were so pleased with the high quality of finish to this property. It felt very homely with great art work and decor placed throughout the property. We were also impressed with the amount of living items such as utensils and pans making it very easy to prepare meals for our family. The very spacious and oRead morepen plan living made it perfect for my disabled husband and large dogs. The location is perfect for a quiet get away with beautiful scenery and friendly locals. Hide

Lovely cottage, views are stunning. Loved our stay there. Would have been great if there was an EV charger on site and WiFi was unreliable.

This is a beautiful property with lovely open views. Attention to detail is needed by the owners to address issues raised by guests in the Visitors book (dust, dirty windows, lack of pillows, etc.) and bring the guest experience to what it should be!

I was hoping that it had a garden totally enclosed for my dogs but its a shared gravel yard and a separate lawn area that you have to walk to with the dog and put in. not just open the back door and let them out. The other cottage had a dog so I had to keep an eye on mine.

Great house with lots of space inside and out, with expansive views. Thoughtful modern barn conversion with plenty of facilities and was very comfortable. Contact with the owner was very positive and every request was fulfilled very quickly, both before and during our stay. The wifi was temperamental during our stay and we did experience draughtRead mores through the windows and doors (gale-force winds on a very exposed location), which was surprising considering the quality of the rest of the house. A really good get-away-from-it location. Hide
