Cute as a button, this beautifully styled little apartment makes a wonderful romantic getaway just for two. On the ground floor of a converted rectory in Lower Llanbedrog, it’s within minutes of the beach, shops and places to eat, and even has its own patio for alfresco drinks and meals.
Enjoy easy coastal living in this attractive seaside retreat. The living space is conveniently open plan, featuring a black-and-white kitchen area with an American-style fridge/freezer, an adjacent dining table and chairs, and a comfy sofa bed facing a TV. The room is bright and airy, thanks to a wall of glazing with a sliding door to the front patio. After a cosy evening in, step into the king-size bedroom, which has ample storge space in the form of a free-standing, French-style open wardrobe, plus a sleek, en-suite shower room. For alfresco drinks and meals, whether morning coffee or evening supper, there’s dining furniture in both front and rear patios, and you also have use of a shared storage shed containing beach sundries.
The property sits next door to St Pedrog’s Church (listen out for bell ringing on a Wednesday and Sunday!) and just 300 metres from the National Trust beach, a mile-long stretch of sand backed by colourful beach huts and with sheltered waters. The village is also home to an art gallery, pubs and places to eat. For a quiet day, explore the networks of paths lined by pine trees and heather on Llanbedrog headland, or head to the lovely National Trust house and garden of Plas yn Rhiw, 6.5 miles. In Abersoch, 3 miles, you will find an array of shops, cafes, restaurants and bars, and a sheltered beach where you can learn to sail or powerboat, or hire a dinghy, kayak or pedalo.
