Perfect for a romantic getaway, this stunning lodge is in a secluded spot on a rural hillside with far-reaching views near the Brecon Beacons and heaps of walks and fun activities. Enjoy your own private hot tub and covered balcony with a glass of something and soak up the incredible setting.

One of two lodges in the field on a working farm, it’s perfect for a couple, with a large open-plan living area with amazing views and lots of natural light. Other than the three steps up to the lodge it’s all on one level. The contemporary living space combines a comfy sitting area with a plush sofa (a sofa bed), Freesat TV, DVD player, books and games, with a dining table for romantic meals and a stylish kitchen. The cute bedroom area is at the far end of the room with a double bed where you can sit and watch the outside world with your morning cup of tea. The shower room is separate and patio doors next to the sofa and dining table lead out to the covered balcony where you’ll want to spend your evenings having drinks or dinner al fresco. If you’re not in the hot tub! Surrounded on three sides it feels private yet still has incredible views.

Head out for walks from the lodge through the stunning countryside on your doorstep or visit the Brecon Beacons (6 miles away) for mountain walks. Go for a wander or book a romantic boat trip along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, which starts in Brecon (7 miles) and wends its way through the national park. You can go salmon fishing on the River Honddu nearby and book lovers will love Hay-on-Wye (14.5 miles), which has over 20 bookshops, it also hosts the Hay Festival every year.

Stayed a few weeks ago with my daughter. Amazing location, cabin was immaculate and very well equipped! Having the hot tub under shelter was perfect. I have absolutely zero complaints and couldn't have been happier with our time at the cabin. We will 100% be returning and I'm looking forward to it!

This place had everything we needed, and shops only a short drive away for anything we didn't. The hot tub being under cover meant that we could make the most of it even during the temperamental weather. The area was very peaceful, and had great views in the daytime. I highly recommend this location If you find yourself round Brecon way!
