  • Cosy cottage located within a working farm offering accommodation for three
  • A stylish, carefully renovated property, close to a beach
  • Contemporary, open-plan living with panoramic views and original features

Property code: OC-BOW126

Set within a family dairy farm, this beautifully renovated cottage is a true escape to the rural Welsh countryside. Sleeping three across two bedrooms, this family-style property gives proximity to days running along the sand or taking in the sights of Roman remains. There really is something for everyone.

Light and welcoming, this accommodation is newly renovated and features a cosy open-plan living space with sumptuous furniture and a selection of holiday reads. Grab a book and put your feet up, while you mull over the week’s events. Rustle up family eats in the modern kitchen, or set up the dining table to catch up with your party over dinner. Retire to one of the two bedrooms upstairs – a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a balcony with panoramic views of the countryside, while down the hall a cute single room provides a snuggly space to catch some z’s. In the morning, stick the kettle on and pop outside to take in the faint sound of birdsong and watch the sun come up.

Venture 2.5 miles from the property to while away hours at Red Wharf Bay. The bay is a designated nature reserve so spotting rare wildlife such as purple sandpipers, curlew and dunlin are highly likely. With the village virtually on the water’s edge, stopping for a bite to eat whilst admiring the view is a must-try. For walkers, circular walks of Anglesey are within easy reach of the cottage and take you on a journey from Roman remains to seal-spotting opportunities.

Beautiful holiday cottage in a stunning location. The cottage was clean, fresh and welcoming and equipped with everything needed. Beds were very comfortable and the property was warm on the chilly nights and mornings. No issues whatsoever, would happily stay here again. Great location for exploring North Wales.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cwt y Bugail. The cottage was cosy and comfortable and a real home from home. The cottage was comfortable and warm and the furnishings in keeping with the style of the cottage. We appreciated the welcome pack of delicious cheese made on the farm, crackers and fresh creamy farm milk with homemade Welsh cakes.
