Spot glimpses of the resident dolphins swimming around the surrounding coastline from the decking of this cute and cosy coastal-themed retreat overlooking the sandy shores of nearby New Quay and its quintessentially seaside town, offering something for everyone to fall in love with.

Keep sandy and paws toasty long into the evening by following the warmth of the wood burner into the cosy lounge, complete with a calming coastal colour palette, to relax for the evening on the comfortable sofas. The cute snug room opposite is the perfect spot for the children to unwind and let off some steam before bedtime. Head into the rustic kitchen/diner to rustle up a hearty meal and enjoy special family time seated around the generous wooden dining table with an atmospheric feature stone fireplace as your backdrop. As day turns to dusk, retire upstairs to find four beautifully presented bedrooms featuring a peaceful coastal colour palette that’ll send you to sleep dreaming of tomorrow’s beach day. Spill out on the raised decking in the gravelled courtyard to dine alfresco with views of the shimmering shoreline in the background.

From boat trips to enjoying a traditional bucket and spade day at the beach, the picturesque seaside town of New Quay nestled on the Cardigan Bay coastline offers everything you’d expect to find at a quintessentially seaside retreat, including a fabulous golden arc of sand and a beautiful harbour, both half a mile away. Discover the delights of the Cardigan Bay Marine Heritage Coast by boarding a boat trip from the harbour to come face to face with the dolphins bobbing along the crystal waters. A wonderful cottage to stay in! The accommodation is spacious but also cosy with different rooms to choose from. It was great to have two bathrooms too! The location was great and gave you the most amazing views from the back windows and garden. It was also located close to the centre of town with easy access to all amenities. Whilst there was nRead moreo parking at the property, it was easy to unload the car and park in the car park up the road - very reasonable at 21 for the whole week. Definitely somewhere we will return to! Hide

We had a wonderful few days here at Elvor. The cottage is very well equipped with wonderful sea views and an enclosed garden (sun trap). Everything you could need was at the cottage. It was very clean too. We had one really cold day, so the log burner was lovely. The town of New Quay is one of the friendliest and unspoilt places (and dog friendly)Read more and we were made to feel part of the community despite only being on holiday. Lime crab is a must for fish and chips (and crab taco). The Pepper pot is also a lovely place to eat, and the quiz night in the Seahorse pub hilarious. That is one super friendly pub. A wonderful stroll down to the beach on the left of property is wonderful and the beach just gorgeouswe did it at sunrise a few days. I would recommend Elvor and New Quay as a fab place to spend a few days. We will be back. Hide

View and location very good. Property was clean inside. The garden needs work, there were weeds taking over, the garden furniture looked 10 years old and the rail on the decking was wobbly and unsafe!
