Pack your bags and escape to this luxurious North Wales farmhouse ideally located for coast, castles and countryside. Rest and recharge in this charming, detached cottage, made for eight guests and loaded with fun facilities to keep the little kids, and the big, entertained at all times.
Let yourselves into this cosy abode, with gorgeous traditional features such as original slate floors, exposed oak beams and open fireplaces, coupled with a modern kitchen and many up-to-date appliances. Light the open fire in the lounge, where snuggly seating invites you to nestle while you watch TV or grab one of the books off the thoroughly stacked shelf. Whilst the flames are crackling, draw straws for your evening’s chef, and rustle up a tasty meal while the others lay the table. Break bread over the kitchen’s small, pleasant eating area, or go through to the atmospheric dining room, with an oak table for eight, beautiful ceiling beams and an original inglenook with ornamental stove complete the dining experience. After a day at the beach, run damp towels through the wash in the handy utility room, while finishing off the downstairs is one of the four bedrooms; a gorgeous double bedroom with striking field views to match. Upstairs, the master bedroom is a sight to behold, with a romantic classic double bed, ornamental fireplace, stone walls and an en-suite bathroom dressed with a P-shaped bath, a shower above and Bluetooth speakers for early morning dances. The next bedroom is just as beautiful and features a king-size bed (which can be made up as two singles on request), and high vaulted ceilings, while down the hall, a pretty bunk bed room suits the younger people of the group. Outside, soak up the sunshine and scenery in the enclosed gardens dotted with shrubs and flowerbeds, and of course, the sunset-facing hot tub where pampering comes as second nature. The bar/games room with pool table, outdoor children’s play area and enchanting fairy glen means entertainment is sorted for everyone.
If you can tear yourself away from this fabulous property, while away the hours seeing more of the landscape that Wales is famous for. Discover the neighbouring village of Denbigh just 3 miles from the property. Overlooking the breathtaking Vale of Clwyd, the living market town of Denbigh has layer upon layer of history to its name, including having more listed buildings than any other town in the country. Go up to the castle in search of tales of princes and earls, get served bountiful plates of hearty food in one of the 500-year-old pubs, or browse independent shops for a unique souvenir. Further afield, spend a day at Rhyl beach (14 miles), where a long sweep of golden sand makes for a fun-filled break, or alternatively, underwater adventures are afoot at the SeaQuarium, where coming face-to-face with sharks, clownfish and seahorses is all part of the amazing experience.
