The long sandy beach of Bennar, fringed by sand dunes and popular with surfers and anglers, is less than a mile away.

The charming semi-detached cottage is set over two floors and offers beautiful views of Cardigan Bay from the sun lounge and terrace. The room has a traditional feel with an ornamental inglenook fireplace, exposed beams, comfortable seating, and a TV to watch your favourite movies. The sun lounge is an alternative place to relax and offers panoramic views over Cardigan Bay through French windows that lead onto a terrace. A very cosy cottage, 15 min walk to the beach, and a very quiet location. Good facilities in the cottage, good wi-fi and comfortable. Our first time to this part of the country, and would return to Barmouth and this cottage.

Wonderful location , clean property , we came as a family of 5 with 7 month old baby paraphernalia the property allowed enough space for a pram in the hallway when little one was asleep , and room for our own high chair near the kitchen , and bed rooms big enough for travel cot . Safe and secure garden area to front and back for our 2 dogs . Read more Great restaurant with bar on site . Stunning beach walks . Wonderful family holiday without stress Hide

Lovely clean property on the edge of a static caravan park, don't let that put you off as it was very quiet, the location was great for us as it was a short drive to both Harlech and Barmouth where their is plenty of places to eat and drink, our week was very busy so booking would be advisable for food, great place and would stay again, and the unRead morederfloor haeting was great. Really relaxing week at the Farmhouse which was lovely to get back to after long walks on the beach with the dogs. We spent the evenings in the sun room reading, enjoying the view and watching the baby lambs scampering around the field over the lane. Also very nice welcome pack of local produce - were now Bara Brith addicts! Hope to be back againRead more next spring! Hide

The cottage is absolutely lovely. We are fussy and we would most definitely return. Full of character and charm. Everything you need is there including all of the basic kitchen equipment. Do look in all of the kitchen cupboards and drawers upon arrival. There are pan scrubbers, washing up liquid, washing tablets and dishwasher tablets tea toweRead morels, oven mits and pegs etc (saves packing space). The location is quiet and peaceful. The beach is a straight walk through the caravan site and it is flat. The walk took us ten minutes and we think half a mile. The beach is dog friendly. The owners are helpful and approachable - I have some issues that require me to make contact before arrival and they were extremely accommodating. Onsite restaurant allows dogs out on the balcony which has a roof and heaters. If you are over 6 foot tall and have looked at the photos dont worry about the bedroom ceilings. There is only one beam at the top of the stars that you may have to duck just a little. Both bedrooms would be fine if you slept on the right side of the bed. My husband had no issues. We would highly recommend the cottage and the location, which is about 3/12 miles from Barmouth and 7 from Harlech. Hide

Didnt realise the Cottage was located in amongst a caravan park until after booking. Not much green space to have a dog loose off the lead if wary of the beach.
