Sprawl out in this fantastic family-friendly property which boasts a large reception room, a cosy snug and a games area ensuring something to please everyone. Just a mile away is the picturesque Oxwich Bay where days out can be spent at the beach or exploring Oxwich Wood located to one side for endless hours of fun.

As you enter the property, the grand entrance greets you with plenty of space to take off coats and shoes, as well as a snooker table for additional entertainment. The living room features a roaring wood burner and comfortable seating for quiet nights spent at your holiday home, whilst the snug has space for a further six guests, also equipped with a wood burner and TV. With two islands in the centre of the room, the kitchen perfectly balances the old with the new and is a great space for cooking and socialising, whilst the sunroom-style dining room is a fantastic formal room seating up to ten surrounded by garden views. Upstairs, there are three country-style en-suite bedrooms including two twin rooms and a double room so that the whole family can enjoy a good night’s sleep. In addition, the master bedroom features a king-size bed, plenty of storage and an en-suite bathroom for added luxury. At the rear of the holiday home is a patio, perfectly positioned to make the most of the far-reaching sea views over Oxwich Bay with ample seating for dining alfresco. There is even a table tennis table located in the garage which can be used inside or out.

Enjoy a tour of the coast on a visit to Mumbles (8 miles) for a quintessential seaside experience with its Victorian Pier, lighthouse and fine Welsh-Italian ice cream makers to sweeten the deal. In the opposite direction is another beautiful coastal spot, Rhossili, where views of the iconic Worm’s Head and Rhossili Downs lure you in for a wonderful day of walking along the coast path or relaxing on the sands as the waves gently crash onto the shore.

Its a lovely, well equipped comfortable property in a wonderful location. Some useful information on equipment and surrounding area. Great for family or friend sharing. We loved our time here. Good for walking beach and relaxing. For such a lovely property it misses a trick to make it perfect by failing to provide toilettries and soap for dishwRead moreasher when especially there is nowhere in the immediate locality to purchase these. Furthermore there is nothing in the information prior to arrival making one aware. For a higher end accomodation I would expect such basics. Other then that great place would stay again but owners should consider adding these basics. Hide

A gorgeous house in a stunning location, fantastic for children, although steps throughout the downstairs, and dogs. Perhaps a little dusty but equipped like a home. The views are incredible.

Have stayed here several times and its always so relaxing. The house is really comfortable with loads of space to spread out - and the view is stunning. Gower Way right on your doorstep for stunning walks - including a nice 45-60 minute stroll to the King Arthur for a drink, or you can walk down to the beach in about 20 minutes (a bit longer back uRead morep!). Great cottage and we all had a fantastic time. Cold November nights with a log fire and the aga gently heating away cannot be beaten in such an amazing cottage and in the daytime stunning views over Oxwich Bay.

This is a fine cottage, which we have returned to for several years. Great walks straight out of the front door, otherwise very quiet, which is ideal for us. Good choice of bedrooms, and separate spaces for large groups.

We had a wonderful stay at Nicholaston Cottage. We were very comfortable and it offered both space and something for everyone. The snooker and table tennis tables were popular. The garden and view is amazing. The cottage is well placed to explore this beautiful part of Wales. Its a 5-10 min walk to the beach (a bit steep walking back up again) but Read moreyou can drive and park at Oxwich. We hope to return. Hide

Lovely house, very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Some tricky steps inside the house as it is on different levels- negotiable but care needed. My dog and I enjoyed the walks from the house up onto the Gower Way and enjoyed seeing the wild Welsh ponies close by. The pool table was popular!

we found this property to be ideal for our 3 generation family weekend. It is very spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It has a wonderful view from all the rooms over Oxwich Bay and has easy access to all the other stunning beaches in the area. The garden is great for the dogs being secure and visible from inside the house. We have just returned from our second visit. The house suits our multi-generational family and dogs so well. It is warm, comfortable, relaxing and spacious, with room for us all to come together or spread out as the mood takes us. We appreciate each bedroom being en suite, there is everything you need in the well equipped kitchen, and we were welRead morel entertained with pool and other games. Absolutely gorgeous house with stunning views. Loved all the walks directly from the property. All the bedrooms face the bay and have en-suites. Having a snug and study as well as a lounge was super handy. It felt like a proper home. Perfect.
