Wake up to the smell of sea air in this coastal bolthole in the pretty village of Mumbles. Sleeping four guests, the property makes a lovely couples’ retreat or base for a small family, with a spacious, open-plan living area and a beautiful lawned garden where children can play. In the heart of the village, you’ll find some excellent local eateries, as well as a picturesque Victorian pier and medieval castle.

The stone-fronted fisherman’s cottage has a homely vibe, with artwork adorning the walls and sumptuous soft furnishings for a comfortable stay. The open-plan lounge/diner is flooded with natural light, thanks to two bay windows, and has plump sofas to relax on to watch the Smart TV and a dining table with fabulous sea views. A kitchen and utility room complete the ground floor. Upstairs, two elegant bedrooms await, decorated in tones to reflect the surrounding landscape. Choose from an inviting king-size or a cosy twin. A stylish shower room rounds off this delightful seaside retreat. Outside, there is a small garden to the front with a side entrance to the cottage and a large garden to the rear, with a lawn, pretty flowers and shrubs, and a sunny patio.

The stretch of coastline around Mumbles has some of Wales’s finest beaches. Just 1 mile away is Langland Bay, which is a real hotspot for surfers and water sports enthusiasts. A beautiful cottage, well equipped and comfortable. The view from the lounge and front bedroom is lovely and the location great for walking to shops and restaurants. The weather was not good but the cottage meant we could relax in comfort.

Excellent accommodation. Although a traditional cottage from outside, the inside is spacious and modern and very well equipped. It is ideal for 2 adults and 2 children or 3 adults. The second bedroom is a bit tight for 2 adults. The main bedroom is exceptionally large. Not suitable for those with mobility issues. Overall excellent accommodation and would definitely rebook if in the area again. Hide

A lovely, cosy cottage with a wonderful view of the sea. Loved our time in The Mumbles & would be happy to return to this cottage. The cottage was well equipped for holiday cooking & cosy times. With a new shower room & handy spare loo (plus a hidden outdoor one!). The busy road outside allows for plenty of people watching while seeing the tidesRead more rise and fall. Hide

We've stayed at Daisy Cottage twice before, and hope to return again. It is cosy, comfortable and clean - a real home from home. It's perfectly situated on the edge of Swansea Bay, with many beautiful places to visit locally. We had a wonderful week's holiday.
