What a fantastic holiday home, we had a great stay here. The location is very peaceful, the house is really well equipped, I slightly overdid it with our supermarket delivery as I wasn't sure what would be provided. Everything you could need in the kitchen, including washing up liquid, soap, cloths, dishwasher tabs etc. Great coffee machine and pleRead morenty of coffee pods. Plenty of soap and spare toilet rolls in the bathrooms. The showers were fantastic, but the floor did get quite wet. Comfy beds, lots of great seating in the lounge and a big TV. The sun room is wonderful, very comfortable chairs and what a view! Lots of lovely places to sit in the garden. As it's in such a lovely quiet location the options for grocery shopping are quite limited, we arranged a Sainsburys delivery. You can get to the Coast Path by turning left at the drive way. And it's about a 10-15 minute walk the other way into Port Eynon. Really recommend Gower Coast Adventures boat trip from Oxwich Bay, a 2 hour round trip to Worms Head. We had lovely trips to Reynoldston, Mumbles, Pennard Castle, Rhosilli Bay, Llanelli Wetlands Trust and Whiteford Sands (and the wonderful Cwm Ivy Cafe for lunch - what a view!) We'll really miss the stunning Gower Scenery. Hide

Great location with lots to explore on the Gower. Our favourite outings were Oxwich bay ( not a quick visit as its set 7 for parking - all the more time to walk the beach and try the eateries), Rhosilli, walks along the cliffs from the door and fantastic view and lamb from Woebley castle. Then great to return to Windy Ridge and enjoy the sea viewsRead more and local bird life visiting the garden. Hide

We loved the cottage and are coming back next year. Its a quiet location and not much in Port Eynon as such (other than coast/beach) but even in bad weather the views are great and we felt very cosy in the conservatory and living room.
