This welcoming ground floor apartment is perfectly placed for enjoying a beach holiday, with private access to Caswell Bay just over 150 metres away. It’s all on one level with outside space, sea views, a sofa bed in the lounge and a separate twin bedroom, ideal for a couple or friends looking for a cosy coastal retreat.

With patio doors and large windows, the apartment has plenty of light. Step inside via the patio doors into the open-plan living space featuring a lounge, with comfy seating for relaxing, a sofa bed for two guests, a TV, and gorgeous views. Next to it is the dining area and a corner kitchen with everything you need for meals in. Head through to the inviting bedroom for a good night’s sleep, there’s also a shower room with a step-in shower with handrails. Take your morning cuppa or evening drink with you onto the balcony and enjoy the awesome beach and sea views.

The apartment is in an enviable position overlooking Caswell Bay, which is accessible by wheelchair and an excellent spot for sunbathing, building sandcastles, as well as surfing and paddleboarding for the more adventurous. You’ll find shops and cafes where you can get great coffee, delicious meals, and indulgent ice creams at one end of the bay. There’s also a surf and paddleboard school if you want to book lessons. Wander along the coast path where there are picturesque walks in both directions. Brandy Cove is 1 mile away, a small, secluded bay only reachable on foot, and Langland Bay (1.5 miles) is the other way, where there’s a super brasserie, a golf course and pretty beach huts. The stunning beaches of Rhossili (15 miles), Three Cliffs (6 miles) and Oxwich Bay (9.5 miles) are all within easy reach too.

Great position overlooking Caswell Bay. Parking outside apartment. Terrace but no outside furniture as stated on site. Only an old beach chair and umbrella, but no stand. Clean and tidy, but let down by poor tv reception, bathroom issues including a dangerous towel warmer and broken extractor fan. Odd assortment of cutlery and crockery. No placematRead mores or coasters resulting in marked coffee tables. Did not feel the price we paid reflected the quality we were expecting. Disappointing. Hide

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in but we were disappointed by the lack of many simple useful items. A dust pan and brush for little spillages would be easier to use than the large and unwieldy vacuum cleaner. A pizza oven tray was not provided but a pizza cutter was also there were many kitchen knives but not a chopping board. The biggest failing hRead moreowever, was that, although the website description states that a patio table and chairs are provided this not the case. What is there is ONE cheap folding camping chair and a parasol without a base. Although the owner asks visitors to wash the dishes and cutlery before leaving they do not provide any cleaning products. We have stayed in many holiday rental properties and they have all provided such items. Hide

Redcliffe itself a beautiful place to stay we have been coming for 20 years now and will never tire of the view and ease to the beach
