The property itself is an undisturbed detached accommodation choice with an ample wrap-around garden, a fantastic place for any family of five guests to stay. One dog is also welcome to stay, and the walled garden offers a great secure place for your four-pawed pal to play.

On the ground floor, a lovely living room with ample comfy seating, a wood burner and French doors offering access to the garden offers the very best place to spend your evenings. Continue through to the kitchen/diner next door for self-catering, stocking up on local goodies to prepare a delicious dinner or a late-night snack. Excellent cottage, perfect location in the very centre of Porteynon. Very comfortable, all facilities (apart from a couple of outdoor chairs). We had our dog with us so the secure garden was ideal. Would recommend to anyone.

Overall, Cherry Tree Cottage was a lovely property in a lovely location. The property was bigger than expected and laid out well. There were two fridges which was great. The mattresses were pretty comfortable, which is often not the case when you're away. There were a few minor issues, which I have raised since leaving, and hopefully they will be Read moreaddressed. Nothing that needed immediate attention. We would definitely stay there again should we choose to return. Hide

Very clean and comfortable. Great location just a short stroll from the beach. Our few days were very enjoyable and relaxing, especially the log burner after our long walks from the front door. Having a pub a stones throw was also pretty handy.

The property was well appointed and looked after. Location was perfect, close to the local beach and places to eat. It made an excellent base for exploring the Gower.
