Upstairs, you’ll find the two bedrooms – a king-size and a bunk bedroom – along with the family bathroom. Outside, steps lead down to an enclosed, three-tiered courtyard garden. Dine alfresco at the table or unwind on the bench in the sunshine with a morning coffee. A gate leads from the patio to an unsurfaced lane to the rear of the property.
Mumbles is a lively, seaside village with a fantastic range of eateries, including fish and chip shops and restaurants serving fresh seafood. You’ll find plenty of independent shops to peruse, as well as studios and galleries showcasing local artwork. Embrace history on a visit to Oystermouth Castle (300 metres), perched high on the hill, or head along to Blackpill Lido (2 miles) on a hot summer’s day. The area is awash with stunning, sandy beaches, including Langland Bay (1 mile) and Caswell Bay (1 mile).
