This charming cottage has been thoughtfully decorated with calming decor, retaining many of its original features to ensure you have an enjoyable and restful stay in Gower. Enjoy a day out in Oxwich, to the south of the property, where a woodland and a beach ensure that there is plenty to see and do in the diverse landscapes.
On the ground floor is the lovely lounge, which has patio doors opening out into the courtyard area. Here, you’ll find a comfortable sofa, a chair and a TV where you can gather together to play family board games or snuggle up for a film in the evenings. Across the hall is the cosy kitchen/diner which features natural wood and neutral tones creating a light, bright, enjoyable space in which to cook up a meal with a table seating four. Completing the ground floor are two shower rooms with WCs. Upstairs, there are two double bedrooms; unusually, these are both accessed via their own private wooden staircases and have characterful vaulted ceilings with exposed beams. Outside is a small, gravelled courtyard with seating for al fresco dining on sunny spring and summer days.
Within easy reach of both the coast and the countryside, you can rest assured that adventure is never far, especially with the Wales Coast Path accessible within 3 miles providing a gateway to 870 miles of awe-inspiring trails. Spend a day in the seaside haven of Mumbles (12 miles), where fine ice cream, an iconic lighthouse and a vibrant culture can be enjoyed with the whole family or have an equally fun-filled day at Rhossili Beach (10 miles) with views out to Worm’s Head.
