A characterful and romantic bolthole for a couple or small family, this enchanting coastal retreat uniquely offers a secluded location, just 500 metres from the shoreline of Pwll Du Beach. The annexe is one of two properties set within this spectacular location, so you can be assured of peace and privacy. The property can also be booked alongside the main part of the house and can sleep up to 14 guests in total.
Step into this charming retreat and you’ll be met with an inviting open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. It is a warm and welcoming space, with a large stone inglenook fireplace that houses a wood burner, just the kind of place that you’ll want to spend time in after a day of exploring the area. The room also boasts a sofa bed for two guests. Adjacent to this is the spacious and well-equipped kitchen and dining area, a marvellous social space. Head up the spiral staircase to the first floor and into the bright and colourful double bedroom with a desk-cum-dressing table and access to the balcony via French doors. You can also access the Jack and Jill shower room from here, as well as from the landing. Step out onto the balcony and take in spectacular views or enjoy a private spot for your morning cuppa or an al fresco breakfast together.
Set just behind Pwll Du Beach within the breathtaking Gower Peninsula; you can amble down to the beach within minutes. Enjoy strolling along the shoreline of this secluded stretch of coast, or perhaps enjoy a sea swim or a surf if the conditions are favourable. Just 2 miles away is Pobbles Bay, a delightful stretch of sandy beach, or if you’re looking for traditional entertainment, cafes and pubs, Mumbles village is just 7 miles from the cottage.
