Enjoying a picturesque location in the scenic hamlet of Llanmadoc, this characterful cottage makes a delightful retreat for couples and smaller families seeking an idyllic getaway in a beautiful part of the Gower Peninsula. Offering bright and stylish holiday accommodation for up to three guests, the property is perfect for keen walkers and nature lovers discovering the spellbinding countryside and peaceful beaches nearby. Featuring exposed stonework, wooden beams, a cosy wood burner and a gorgeous landscaped garden offering fabulous views, this is a wonderful base for exploring a secluded corner of South Wales.

Reached along a narrow lane, this sweet cottage features a cheery lounge with a wood burner, soft furnishings and a Smart TV, making a lovely space for you all to relax at the end of a fabulous day. There’s an additional snug with a sideboard and storage space, ideal if you want to catch up with a good book. The central kitchen/diner has a beamed vaulted ceiling, with a handy dining table and plenty of equipment to help you cook all your favourite meals. The ground floor also features a refreshing family bathroom. Going upstairs, the first floor offers two bright and relaxing bedrooms decorated in cool neutral shades: a cheerful en-suite king-size room and a cosy single room with an additional pull-out bed. Outside, the beautiful tiered garden has a range of shrubs, a pretty lawn and a choice of furnished patio areas, with panoramic views from the upper terrace.

Just metres from a friendly pub, the cottage is ideally situated for exploring the north and western coastline of the Gower. Keen walkers can head to Spaniards Rocks, King Arthur’s Stone, Weobley Castle and North Hill Tor, or you can go to beautiful local beaches including Whiteford Sands and Blue Pool Bay, all within 4 miles.

Only stayed a week but enjoyed our time - all those living in the cottages around were very friendly. Our Dog (our Labrador "Nell") loved the area with long walks beginning right on the door step, through the woods towards the sand-dunes and beach with an amazing caf half way (half an hour to the caf, then a further half hour to the beach - PerfectRead more! Lovely property and an amazing location. Very well appointed. Much easier to park at the bottom of the road than attempting to drive and up turn.

We absolutely loved our stay at Glenview. Felt at home and found it so relaxing, we didn't want to leave! Comfy beds and fantastic location. Ate at the local pub (the Britannia Inn) twice during our stay, walked miles from the front door.

lovely cottage in a beautiful village, with stunning views from the garden, however we thought the cottage was in need of a deep clean. There was spiders and cobwebs everywhere, dust on the skirting boards and the bathroom was very grubby in the corners and windows etc. The access to the cottage was very difficult, as the little lane up to it was eRead morextremely narrow!! Very comfortable property. Almost everything you could wish for, lovely garden and lots of seating. Definitely access difficault to house but there is no road parking and its not a busy area. Neighbour was very helpful offering to more his car if needed which was lovely. There are amazing beaches in the area, Rhossili, Broughton and not to miss 3 CRead moreliffs bay it has everything cliffs, castle, beach stream, caves and fabulous beach. The blurb said the lane leading to the property was only suitable for a small car. I regard the car we used as small however we couldnt get it up the lane, it would have been much more useful to give a measurement for maximum width of a car as small is subjective! Carrying luggage up a steep hill at the beginning of the holiday is no fun.There wasnRead moret even space to park on frog lane. Also there was too much owners stuff in the everywhere, it could be stored in the shed in the garden. Hide

We have stayed at Glenview three times and have seen some unfortunate declines in the property since last year. The property requires a deep clean , there are some areas that need a good clean, windows, doors, casements and shower tiles. In the two bedrooms the ceiling needs attention, cleaning and painting. The walls in the main bedroom are showRead moreing signs of mould with the front/left corner showing black mould. There is some around the bedroom window too. The cottage was very nice. It was warm and comfortable. It was well equipped, but a little chaotic. The kitchen would benefit from a sort out. Heating was very well catered for, although hot water was not always available in the bathroom and also the bedroom closet. We were disappointed not to have received a welcome pack as one was advertised for Read morethe property. Luckily, the local Community shop was still open when we arrived so we bought some essentials, such as milk, there. The property just needs a general inspection to iron out these issues. It was a lovely cottage in a great setting. Only negative was that the only sofa was uncomfortable as too narrow to curl up on and the other seat was a tub chair!
