Overlooking Three Cliffs Bay and backing onto National Trust land sits this delightful one-bedroom property. With footpaths straight from the door and The Gower Way a short stroll away, it’s an ideal base for a couple wanting tranquillity, scenic walks, and easy access to sandy beaches.
Inside the rooms are all located on one level with simple, fresh tones throughout. After a long day exploring, step into the lounge and relax on the sofa in front of the wood burner. The lounge is cosy and swathed in natural light and is the perfect spot to unwind or simply contemplate the stunning views. It overlooks a neat dining table with seating for two people while a separate kitchen can be used for preparing delicious meals. When it’s time for bed, whitewashed walls sweep through to the double bedroom and with nothing here to disturb you, you’ll soon drift off to sleep. In the morning, freshen up in the en-suite bathroom before stepping out into the pretty walled garden dotted with plants and flowers and featuring a pond. Alternatively, step into the Victorian gazebo and watch the waves roll into the bay. The gazebo and garden are shared with The School House so you can even enjoy a friendly chat with the neighbours.
Cefn Bryn is right on your doorstep and is a lovely spot for a walk. The ridge is five miles long and boasts spectacular coastal views, wildlife, and ancient monuments. From here you can also jump on the Gower Way, a 35-mile footpath, and enjoy a long walk in nature to Rhossilli (8.5 miles). Alternatively head to Three Cliffs (1 mile) and splash in the sea, try your hand at surfing, or explore the nearby ruins of 12th-century Pennard Castle.
