A romantic bolthole for two, this delightful retreat is situated in the charming seaside town of Bishopston in the Gower Peninsula, a popular destination for those wishing to explore the natural beauty of the Welsh coastline. The village is served by three welcoming pubs and a small supermarket, so you can easily enjoy the local hospitality just a stone’s throw from your doorstep.
Step inside and you’ll find yourselves in the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, which is bright and spacious. Dual aspect, thanks to the glass double doors (with access to the courtyard) and window opposite, the room is bathed in light and is a lovely place to spend time preparing for the day’s activities. Sumptuous sofas dominate the space and behind sits a dining table. Adjacent to this is the kitchen which is well equipped and offers all you require to comfortably cater for your stay. There is also a generously sized bathroom. The double bedroom is a light and enticing space, ideal for slow, relaxing mornings with French doors leading to the private courtyard which boasts a compact bistro table, ideal for breakfast alfresco.
Bishopston is well placed to offer convenient access to plenty of the area’s stunning natural attractions; local beaches within walking distance include Caswell Cove (0.5 miles) which is a fabulous sandy beach, Brandy Cove (0.5 miles), accessed via Caswell at low tide, and a little further, Pwll Du Beach (5 miles) is a stunning sheltered cove. For food, drink and traditional seaside attractions, the famous Mumbles is less than 3 miles from the property.
