We loved the cottage and the location although at the moment its a bit noisy as the sea wall is being Strengthened so you cant actually walk on the sea front which was disappointing but that isnt the fault of the owner of the cottage. Parking is a bit awkward as we were blocked in a couple of days

A lovely property, nicely refurbished and comfortable in a great location. Overall it was reasonably clean and well equipped, and the minor issues we had were quickly dealt with by the management company. A few consumables such as dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and toilet rolls would have been appreciated but fortunately easily sorted. The house is lovely and well maintained. The location is ideal and is going to be great for anyone visiting in 2025 I'm sure. We weren't so luckyHowever, we were unaware (until we got a call the day before we arrived) of the massive construction project which is ongoing on the promenade to replace/reinforce the sea wall. Work started between 7 and Read more8am every weekday including diggers, concrete lorries, bulldozers and tipper trucks. Hundreds of men in hard hats and high viz all day long, just 20m from the front door. The noise was constant and horrible. I had a conversation with a site foreman who told us that the optimistic end date for the works is February 2025. So it's a great house with lovely views but our timing was terrible. Hide

Disappointed there was no welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk etc to get us started after a long journey. Also basic cooking materials like salt, pepper, oil would have been helpful. These are all things that supply an extra touch of care, and are typical on properties we have hired before.

Excellent location with just a short walk into Mumbles itself for shopping. A very pleasant walk to the pier too. We had amazing weather which meant we could take full advantage of the many nearby beaches.

Have no real issues as we outdoors most of the time. However, couldn't use the patio as it was unkept with leaves piled up and chairs and table in dirty condition. Actually the photo of the patio on your website was different from actuality. Using fish eye lens to photograph the rooms of the property gave the impression that the property was more Read morespacious than it actually was. Two ensuite bathrooms were very tight so the doors did not fully open and one had to maneuver around them to get in. Parking was an issue as often the access point was blocked. Hide

Poor response re power failure upon arrival. Tortuous answerphone system and no follow up AT ALL to request for telephone call. Roads leading to property been closed for months due to sea wall fortification which likely to go on for 80 weeks.
