Enjoy a stay in delightful Mumbles, a colourful Welsh headland nestled between the scenic Gower Peninsula and the lively city of Swansea. Offering easy access to both places, Mumbles itself is a charming place to stay, with interesting shops, eateries and even a pier. Sleeping two guests, this one-bedroom makes a perfect couples’ retreat. It has a pretty garden and views out over Mumbles Hill towards the sea and is just 400 metres from the small beach at Limeslade Bay.
Head inside to find accommodation equipped with everything you are likely to require during your stay. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has doors that you can slide open on to the garden on sunny days to let in a breeze and comfortable seating to settle on for the night as you watch TV. There is also a sofa bed in here. The kitchen area, where you can prepare homecooked meals, looks out over the garden, and there is a table to dine at. As day turns to night, head off for a hot shower in the shower room then make your way through to the double bedroom for a good night’s sleep. Soak up the sunshine out in the lawned garden, as you enjoy a cup of tea and take in the views after your days out. There is space here to store cycles and parking for one car.
Walk less than 1 mile into the centre of Mumbles and to the beach. The beautiful beach at Langland Bay is also just 1 mile away. Caswell Bay is a 2.5-mile walk along the coast road and cliffs or 2.5 miles by car. The centre of Swansea is 6.5 miles from the cottage and offers a variety of high street and independent shops, as well as cafes, pubs and restaurants, cinemas and theatres.
