The larger property – Frog Cottage – features a welcoming open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with traditional whitewashed stone walls and wooden beams, a wood burner and plenty of room for four guests to get together for a meal and a movie at the end of a great day. Upstairs, there are two cosy en-suite bedrooms: a lovely double and a delightful twin. The second, smaller cottage is called Tadpole Cottage, and features a cheery open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with plenty of room for two guests to relax in the evenings. Upstairs, there’s a colourful king-size bedroom and stylish shower room. Each cottage has a cheerful outside space – Tadpole Cottage has a small furnished patio, and Frog Cottage has a landscaped garden surrounding the furnished terrace.
The cottages are close to a pub on the edge of Llanmadoc, and are ideally situated for exploring the whole of the Gower. Within a mile are the secluded beach at Whiteford Sands, the tranquil Whiteford Burrows National Nature Reserve and the Loughor Estuary. Keen walkers can head to local landmarks and attractions including Spaniards Rocks, Cilifor Top, Landimore Marsh, Weobley Castle, North Hill Tor and King Arthur’s Stone, all within 8 miles. Along the southern coast are the gorgeous beaches at Three Cliffs Bay, Oxwich Bay and Port Eynon, all within 8 miles.
