Property code: OC-HH9901

On the edge of one of Gower’s most famous beaches, this welcoming holiday home is designed with its living spaces on the first floor to make the most of fabulous views. With a south-facing garden, it’s a pet-friendly choice for family get-togethers and groups of friends.

A reverse-level design means most of the bedrooms of this two-storey property are on the ground floor. Here you’ll find the main bedroom which has a king-size bed, built-in wardrobes and en-suite shower room, plus two twin bedrooms, one of which has built-in wardrobes and doors leading to the garden. The handsome family bathroom is also on this floor. Upstairs, as well as a further twin bedroom and a WC, there’s a lounge area with comfortable seating for seven and a TV/DVD. This is open-plan to the dining area, which is positioned for perfect sea views through the glazed doors that lead to a compact balcony. The kitchen, leading off the dining area, is spacious and bright, with all the amenities you’ll need to prepare your holiday meals. Outside, the south-facing, lawned garden offers the chance to dine in the fresh air, to exercise your dog or for children to let off steam.

Popular Port Eynon Beach, safe for swimming and with long, golden sands, is directly below the house. It has lifeguards during the summer months and is suitable for water sports, including diving, sailing, surfing and windsurfing. The coast path here is well worth exploring, as are Gower’s pretty walking trails, or you could head to Llangennith, Gower’s big surf beach, 7 miles, with your gear. For food, drink and shopping, spend the day in cosmopolitan Mumbles, 14.5 miles.

We thought this Cottage was absolutely perfect. A Stones throw from the beach and a pub, restaurant and fantastic coffee shop all within a minute walk. The beds were really comfortable and we slept really soundly. The kitchen had everything we needed and we cooked in one night. The towels were large and fluffy. It really was a great place to stay. An amazing place for Christmas. Everything about the cottage is so well thought out, with the bedrooms downstairs and living rooms upstairs with a balcony looking over the sea and the sunrise. Its on the Wales ,coast path which provides spectacular walks. Very well equipped too and beds comfortable.
