This cottage was one of the best we ever stayed in. We went in November and the weather wasnt too special, but it really didnt matter. We spent hours sitting at the kitchen doors that were all glass watching the birds, we saw a gold crest, bullfinch, coal tits, goldfinch and many others. The beds were very comfortable, and the house was lovely aRead morend warm. Extremely well equipped, we even had a bread maker which was brilliant. The Air fryer was amazing, as we didnt need to heat up the big ovens. All the equipment was of a high standard. Really good communication from our host. We will definitely go again and probably again. The area has amazing walks, and waterfalls. There are stairs that a wide but steep, but this was really good for me as it stretched my calves and I was bouncing up and down in no time. Plenty of hot water, and good showers. The linen was excellent too. Hide

Lovely cottage with amble equipment for your stay. Beds were very comfortable and the chairs in the kitchen provided a lovely social space as well as a comfortable bird watching spot. Despite several bumps to the head due to the doorways, we had a great holiday. The kids loved the different levels of the house and the bunk beds and spent lots of Read moretime playing in the river. Lovely cottage with outstanding views across the river and woodland. Please note that the river and what looks like garden area in the pictures, are unregistered land which is used by neighbours including with other dogs and children using the river. This is not published on the website but should be. Great location, especially for beach and seaRead more, but also for seeing the fighter jets from the Mach loop which is quite special. We will miss the view from the kitchen which is calming. We saw herons, bats and birds aplenty. An excellent location for touring the area and visiting the brilliant beaches of Aberdyfi. The cottage has lots of equipment. If you are going with a dog, I would recommend getting the guidance and rules on what you can and cannot do. The pictures and narrative on the website do not make it clear that the river area and anywhere outside the cottage terrace is publicly accessible and used daily by neighbours. Hide

We had the best holiday. The cottage felt like home from home it had everything we needed and more. It was a lovely touch that bedding and towels were included as a family of six this stuff takes up alot of space. We enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen we had a full Christmas dinner and made cakes without worrying about there not being enough Read moretools to do so. Helen was really helpful with telling us the best places to go for food ect and helped us get our shopping delivered straight to the cottage for our arrival. In the cottage was an instruction manual it literally had step by step for everything in the house so there was no need to worry about anything. Will 100% be booking again. Hide

Lovely cottage in peaceful, private location. Very well equipped with comprehensive instructions for appliances and safety, it was warm and cosy with comfortable beds and quality linen and towels. Lovely deck for outdoor dining, weather permitting. Kitchen equipment and crockery are extensive. including Air fryer, slow cooker and bread maker. StairRead mores are short but steep with steps up and down to bedrooms so not suitable for physically challenged and some low ceilings/doorways. Thecottage is at the bottom of a steep driveway. Hide

Lovely stay. Location was central to all our activities planned. 45-1 hr drive. Very helpful hosts if and when needed. Didnt take our dog in the end. Def the right decision for him as very hilly, steep drive and lots of steps within the cottage. Lovely area by the river. Great place to relax for the week.
