Overall a lovely modern house which is quite large over 3 floors. Good location between everything but up a steep hill. Very clean and well equipped. Lots of books! Lovely although small south facing garden. Good parking for 1 or 2 small cars plus shed for bikes etc. Weather was terrible for us (and just after a heat wave!).

'Cartref' is a spacious, very well equipped house, which was very comfortable for our week on The Gower ....and we could see Mumbles lighthouse from the attic bedroom!

Very cozy, clean cottage, not far from the center of the buzzling Mumbles village. Four bathrooms are really useful for a family stay. The long cliff walk starting at the bottom of Plunch Lane towards West is amazing and kept very well. I recommend also the Papis Pizzeria in Mumbles managed by an authentic Sardinian family.

On arrival we were greeted with a lovely hamper of local produce. The house was situated a nice distance from the hustle and bustle of The Mumbles yet within walking distance. Footpaths to the spectacular coastline are close by. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with plenty of space.

We stayed for a week with a young family and the house was very well equipped. Ideally located for visiting the Gower, our favourite was Caswell Bay Beach, which was a short drive away.

Well equipped, clean and welcoming cottage with the added bonus of 2 parking spaces. The layout of the accommodation was ideal for my husband and myself on the first floor and my son and daughter in law on the second floor, with their own ensuite. Really good location only 15 - 20 minute walk down to the Mumbles Pier and several local eateries e.g.Read more the Lighthouse. Our particular favourite was Verdi's for authentic Italian pizzas and ice creams. By car and headland walks we explored several local beaches e.g. Three Cliffs bay, Oxwich beach and finally the outstanding Rhossili beach which stretched for several miles, ideal for kite flying and building sand castles. We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends and we hope to visit again in the near future. Thank you for the welcome pack on arrival. Hide
