Set sail for Wales and take your crew to this beautiful coastal property. Located 0.5 miles from the soft and sandy Abersoch beach, this is the perfect place for a large family to enjoy water sports, beautiful walks and much more.
On the ground floor of the cottage, you’ll find the social spaces and two of the four bedrooms. There’s a modern kitchen/diner which flows into a lounge so everyone can spend time together while doing different activities. Everything is tied together with wooden floors and wood furniture, and the nautical decorations are a fun touch. Upstairs, you’ll find two more bedrooms and a bathroom, all of which are minimalist and comfortable. Energetic kids will enjoy the garden area, perfect for frolicking, and the picnic table is a lovely retro piece that’s great for dinners on long summer evenings.
You’ll be situated in the village of Abersoch, which has some great places for fish and chips, and nice pubs for an afternoon pint. There are also lots of places to hire equipment for water sports and they usually offer lessons so you can try out new activities. If you like to have other people manning the ship, take a boat tour to view the nearby islands, which are wonderful and may have wild dolphins. If your sea legs prefer to stay on land, hike up to the iconic Tin Man sculpture which overlooks Llanbedrog. It’s a 6-mile round trip, or you can continue on to the village for a little snack. Finish your holiday by exploring the Llyn Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (9 miles) or discovering the archaeological history on the peninsula.
