Situated in the heart of Snowdonia sits this impressive five-bedroom stone cottage. With easy access to fantastic hiking trails and close to golden beaches, it’s an idyllic spot for active families or a group of friends looking for tranquillity and outdoor adventure.

In the lounge plump sofas invite you to sit and chat about your day’s adventures while underfloor heating and a wood burner keep things toasty on chilly nights. When mealtimes beckon, you’ll find a large open-plan kitchen equipped with all the essentials needed to cook up a feast and a delightful oak table that is perfect for sociable dining. When the weather is good, open the French doors and let the fresh mountain air breeze in, or dine alfresco on the patio. There’s a charming snug room on this floor featuring twin beds while the remaining bedrooms are upstairs. Choose between two doubles, a twin, and a zip-and-link king-size bedroom. All the bedrooms are light and airy with the double bedroom boasting a wooden balcony where you can enjoy a morning coffee while gazing at the views. Also on this floor is a family bathroom. Outside the garden’s natural beauty is a delight. Sit on the patio and while away the hours soaking up the majestic mountain views or walk through the wildflower meadow down to the peaceful stream.

Walkers can immerse themselves in nature with various valley walks straight from the door including the Cwm Idwal hiking trail with its dramatic scenery, beautiful lake, and rare plant life. Alternatively, head 15 miles to Snowdon and hike to the top or hop on the train and enjoy a more leisurely trip to the summit. The house was spotless and good information was provided beforehand. On a separate note I would say it left a bad taste to say if something was forgotten there would be a 20 charge to send it on.....
