Winter offer on - A pet- and family-friendly farmhouse, set in a tranquil rural location within 3 miles of Bangor. With its spacious lounge, comfortable bedrooms and conservatory with garden views, it is an ideal base from which to explore a wide variety of attractions in Eryri - Snowdonia National Park and on the Isle of Anglesey.
Nestling within the owner’s working sheep farm, this traditional, double-fronted farmhouse is warm and welcoming, thanks in part to the mixture of antique furnishings and modern fixtures and fittings scattered across its two well-appointed floors. The living room ceiling is dominated by wooden beams that look down on comfortable sofas arranged around a vast fireplace. A large glass door links the living room and the conservatory, which looks and leads out onto the patio and terraced garden. The dual-aspect farmhouse kitchen/diner next door is made for hearty breakfasts and guilt free suppers. There are elevated views of open countryside from the king-size bedroom, double bedroom and single bedroom on the first floor, all of which are within easy reach of the family bathroom. A paved patio area with more wonderful views of the surrounding area awaits outside, along with an outhouse for emergency laundering.
The former slate quarrying village of Bethesda (5 miles) has to be seen to be believed, with cycle and footpaths found nearby. Llanberis (9 miles) is home to the National Slate Museum and is also a great place to start an ascent of Yr Wyddfa- Snowdon. Guests can experience this iconic peak from ground level while walking or paddleboarding around Llyn Padarn immediately opposite. For something a little different, the Isle of Anglesey (7 miles) is ringed by an attractive coastal path, along with a wealth of natural and historic attractions.
