A sublimely stylish retreat that’s set in the heart of the famous Mumbles, a historic fishing village that’s not only full of character, but offers plenty of lively entertainment for a traditional seaside holiday. The property itself - though a traditional Victorian terrace - has been beautifully renovated to offer contemporary living for up to eight guests, perfect for a multi-generational stay or a group of friends or families holidaying together.

The large lounge is bright and airy with a huge bay window and modern colour palette - it’s a lovely base for everyone to gather for an evening. On the ground floor, you’ll also find the spacious kitchen, well-equipped and complete with a dining table, perfect for social mealtimes. Upstairs, you’ll find a delightful double bedroom, a sweet bunk room for kids, and a spacious king-size bedroom with a big bay window, dressing table and an en-suite shower room. A family bathroom and handy utility area complete the layout of this floor. Head upstairs again, and you’ll find a pretty double bedroom in the eaves with rooftop views. There is also an en-suite shower room and a desk/dressing area which adds to the private feel of the space. Outside, you’ll find a charming split-level terrace/patio area with a large dining set, great for those wishing to dine alfresco.

Less than 1 mile from the property, you can enjoy a stroll along the Victorian pier where you’ll find a plethora of vibrant seaside entertainments, or you can simply enjoy a day on the beach. In regards to beaches, you’ll be spoilt for choice as Three Cliffs Bay is just a 7-mile drive away, whilst Rhossili Bay, famed for its excellent surfing conditions, is 17 miles away. Here, you can also pick up excellent mountain bike trails or simply take in the spectacular scenery.

Lovely cottage but lack of basic cleaning products such as bin bags, cloths, tea towels, washing up liquid is disappointing seeing we paid 750 for the cottage. For a house of this size an outside bin should be provided and not leave bins in the back garden!

The property was in good condition and my had a great stay., but some small changes could make it even better. The locks in the bathrooms are not child friendly, the dishwasher is not secured to the wall or the bench and only one part of the toaster is working.

We were delighted with the well-appointed house situated perfectly in the heart of Mumbles.. The booking system functioned perfectly. Even parking was no problem. Only the standard of the Swansea renovation system was below par. All in all much more than satisfactory.
