The house was lovely, one of the best holiday rentals we've ever stayed in. It was spacious, comfortable and very well equipped to an extremely high standard. We loved the upstairs with the view over the golf course - and watching the cows! The nearby village had a couple of cafes, a shop and a pub and all within walking distance. A wonderful, upside-down property in a stunning location. You can take in the sunsets from the balcony and easily walk to the beach. The property is comfortable and well-equipped. The local amenities in the village are good too. If you have a dog, you might need to ensure that the garden is properly secure - our beagle escaped one morning. No harm Read moredone, though. We reported it and the agents sent someone round to take photographs to see what needed to be done, so the gaps in the hedge may well have been closed up now. Hide

Lovely cottage within a 15 minute walk to the beach which is a hidden gem of a beach. The dog is allowed to walk to and on the beach as well. The house is very comfortable. The beds were all very comfortable and loved the superking size in the master room. The extra TV room was very handy for the teenagers to watch their own TV shows and also dRead moreoubled up in the day as an office for work. On this note, the wifi was brilliant and you can easily work remotely here. The view to the golf course is lovely too and the cows out front reminded us that we were in the country! This is a perfect home for a family getaway. There is a takeaway pizza place within walking distance of 10 mins. The pizza (Pobbles Pizza) was delicious. There is cafe further down the road that has ice cream that the kids loved. Groceries also can easily be delivered here which was helpful as it is a bit remote. And there is a corner shop that you can walk to as well (Premier) for milk and other necessities. There are several golf courses in the area which my husband and sons were happy to discover - they really like Fairwood Park Golf Course and it was good value too. This is not a house for parties or noisy groups as the neighbours are close by and the area is quiet. This worked very well for us as a family. We would highly recommend this cottage and hope to return soon! Hide
