Escape on a big group getaway to this wonderful, large cottage set right in the charming coastal village of Saundersfoot. This retreat is delightfully welcoming with pretty design features and is well-located for anyone hoping to explore the Welsh coast. It also allows two pets, so you can bring your dogs, too!
You’ll be staying on a slope, so the house is organised in an unconventional way. The kitchen, dining room, lounge, bathrooms and most of the bedrooms are all on one level, and then you descend some steps to reach the final bedroom. The kitchen is a pretty place to get cooking and there’s a breakfast bar for sitting with your morning coffee. The dining room has a feature wall and lovely patio doors which lead to the garden and allow plenty of natural light in. Next, you’ll find a lounge with a cosy sofa and a lovely picture window with views onto the garden. The bedrooms are simply decorated, and one has access to a balcony with seating, while another has lovely glass doors that lead to the garden. To the front of this cottage is a small lawn, while the back garden is enclosed and boasts a lawn, patio and seating great for enjoying meals in the fresh air.
Saundersfoot is a lovely seaside town and this cottage is located just 0.5 miles from the beach, where you can rent water sports equipment or go for a paddle. There are lots of local walks to explore, both along the coast and further inland. Finally, children are sure to enjoy the Heatherton World of Activities and, across the road, Manor Wildlife Park. Both these fun, family attractions are 4 miles away and make great days out.
