Treat yourself to a special holiday in a fantastic location. Animal lovers will be in an amazing place for wildlife; history buffs can explore the 14th-century castle and beach lovers are less than 100 metres from the shore. This Grade II-listed building is the ideal location for two families or a group of friends to enjoy each other’s company and head out on holiday adventures.

Enjoy cosy evenings settled down in the wonderful lounge which boast glass sliding doors leading out onto the patio. A pretty snug with cushy seating and a Smart TV offers a second place to unwind so your group can spread out. It’s a treat to cook in the beautifully equipped kitchen with an island unit to spread out on, a dining table, and French doors. When night falls, head upstairs to one of the four bedrooms. Pick from two doubles, a twin and a bunk bedroom. One of the delightful double bedrooms boasts its own en-suite shower room, and there’s a contemporary family bathroom with a skylight and heated towel rail for the other three rooms to share. Outside, you’ll discover a dining area in an enclosed courtyard perfect for evening drinks or early morning coffee.

Tenby has lots of fascinating history, and you’ll be 500 metres from a castle with a story. This overlooks the harbour (0.5 miles), where you can take boats to see seals and puffins, and visit Caldey Island to learn about the abbey or climb to the lighthouse. Water sports enthusiasts will find plenty of places to surf, kayak and paddleboard around Tenby, including at Marros Sands. This beach is conveniently close to Marros Riding Centre (both 11 miles away), so some people can ride waves and others can ride horses.

Vine Cottage is in an excellent position in Tenby, being a short walk to the town with its shops, restaurants and pubs and having close access to the beach. It's also a peaceful area meaning you should have a good night's sleep and the parking space outside is a bonus. A little care may be required manoeuvring in and out but we managed to get a larRead morege car in without too much ado. The downstairs is very modern and open plan and there are no doors between the kitchen, snug or living room. Upstairs, the bedrooms are clean and simple but would benefit from mirrors. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of hot water for showers with good pressure. We enjoyed our stay at Vine Cottage in beautiful Tenby - but don't let the cottagey appearance outside kid you as the inside is very different! Hide

This is a beautifully renovated and well-equipped cottage in the heart of Tenby. We were a family group of seven spanning three generations and there was plenty of space and facilities for us all from a six-month old baby to grandparents. Would highly recommend it for other family groups.
