Nestled in the heart of one of the most picturesque villages along the magnificent Gower Peninsula, make unforgettable memories exploring the scenic coastal paths surrounding this charming cottage and paddle Port Eynon’s irresistible crystal waters just a stone’s throw away.

After exploring the surrounding coastline, no better remedy for wearing walking muscles is the warmth of the wood burner in the cosy lounge where you can hunker down for the evening on the plush sofas and enjoy a family film night around the TV. Soak up plenty of natural sunlight in the dining room as you plan out tomorrow’s adventure or enjoy a wonderful locally sourced meal that’s been prepared in the farmhouse-style kitchen. Head upstairs to take a long soak in the charming free-standing copper bath before retiring to any of the three lovingly furnished charming bedrooms. Invite the outside in by dining alfresco on the patio whilst children and four-legged friends explore the generous enclosed lawn; for true relaxation, soak up your surroundings from the comfort of the hot tub.

The most southerly point on Gower, the award-winning Port Eynon Bay is a wonderful stretch of golden sand backed by dunes and steeped in tales of smuggling. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy diving, sailing, surfing and windsurfing at the Blue Flag awarded Port Eynon beach less than half a mile away. Located just above the dunes, discover the neighbouring village of Horton by strolling across Port Eynon beach to explore this quiet cove sharing the bay. Join the scenic cliff-top path to reach Oxwich Bay 4.5 miles to the east or follow the path west to be rewarded with the most spectacularly wild stretch of coast in the whole of Gower and reach Rhossili 5 miles away.

Beautiful cottage in perfect position in Port Eynon - you could walk straight from the door onto the beach or up along the coastal path which we did most days. Inside the cottage was well appointed with plenty of kitchen equipment and plates etc. The settees were very comfortable and the house was warm which was really important as we stayed in FebRead moreruary when there was a frost most mornings. Useful to be able to park the car in the driveway too as it did get busy just outside the drive with people parking up to go walking or enjoy the beach. the cottage had a great kitchen, we easily looked after ourselves. Bertie, our faithful hound, also loved the beach and the walkways around the village. Hide

We found the property to be very clean, spacious bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and all round very comfortable. We had 6 year old twin grandchildren staying with us and they thought it was wonderful to have their own separate lounge and TV.
