Soak up plenty of natural sunlight in the dining room as you plan out tomorrow’s adventure or enjoy a wonderful locally sourced meal that’s been prepared in the farmhouse-style kitchen. Head upstairs to take a long soak in the charming free-standing copper bath before retiring to any of the three lovingly furnished charming bedrooms. Invite the outside in by dining alfresco on the patio whilst children and four-legged friends explore the generous enclosed lawn; for true relaxation, soak up your surroundings from the comfort of the hot tub.

The most southerly point on Gower, the award-winning Port Eynon Bay is a wonderful stretch of golden sand backed by dunes and steeped in tales of smuggling. Excellent cottage which is a real home from home. Can't think of anything that needs to be added. The hot tub is a real luxury addition which was popular with the family. Would also recommend the Ship Inn next door for meals.

We absolutely love this cottage and have been more than once. Its location is the best, right next to the pub and just behind the dunes and youre on the beach. It can be a bit noisy sometimes because of the pub. So if its silence your after then expect some noise. But it really is the most lovely footage and our red Labrador loves it there. The cottage is lovely, spacious and in a great location for exploring the area. Very close to the beach which is a short walk away. There are a couple of chippys and 2 pubs which both serve excellent food. There is a shop for essentials on the holiday park a few minutes walk away. The parking spaces were very much appreciated. There is a goodRead more selection of kitchen utensils and plenty of crockery. The beds were comfortable. The outdoor space is great but literally backs on to the pub garden, it was noisy at times, especially when bottles were being thrown in the bottle bin and barrels were being moved. We had the hot tub for the week which was glorious. We loved the dunes and the beach. We walked to the Salt House and Culver Hole which is not far away but a bit of a climb. The view is amazing though and well worth the effort. Hide

Excellent well appointed cottage, in a beautiful location. The stunning beach is literally 1 min walk away, and the pub 10 seconds. Hot tub is a fun addition, especially after a long days walk on the coastal path. Thank you Sarah for allowing us to enjoy your home.

We had a great week at this lovely cottage. The location was perfect for us, dogs enjoyed walks on the beach every day. Really nice to have a hot tub and a log fire. Garden was fully enclosed for the dogs. We ate at both pubs and enjoyed them both.

Forge Cottage is amazingly well situated in Port Eynon on the beautiful Gower coast. The cottage was ideal for our party of three generations celebrating our daughter's graduation in Swansea. The facilities are very clean and comfortable, right next to a lovely pub, and only a few minutes walk from the beach.

Beautifully equipped cottage. Very comfortable with nicely refurbished bathrooms. Nice and close to the pub but might be too close for some. Glorious beach, walks and countryside all right on the doorstep.

We had a lovely week in Forge Cottage. It was very clean and comfortable and only a five minute walk to the beach which was great. No problem with our dogs going on the beach either. The cottage had everything we needed plus comfy beds and sofas. Having the two lounges was definitely a bonus. The front garden is not dog secure but the back is, althRead moreough it is mostly slabbed with some artificial grass in one area. Would definitely return. Hide

Beautiful cottage in perfect position in Port Eynon - you could walk straight from the door onto the beach or up along the coastal path which we did most days. Inside the cottage was well appointed with plenty of kitchen equipment and plates etc. The settees were very comfortable and the house was warm which was really important as we stayed in FebRead moreruary when there was a frost most mornings. Useful to be able to park the car in the driveway too as it did get busy just outside the drive with people parking up to go walking or enjoy the beach. the cottage had a great kitchen, we easily looked after ourselves. Bertie, our faithful hound, also loved the beach and the walkways around the village. Hide
